Mummy Penguin

Composer / Sound Designer

Amidst the snowy Antarctic landscape, Mummy Penguin is off to find a fishy dinner for her family. Daddy and Little Penguin watch in suspense as Mummy swims through the icy waters, climbs the perilous cliffs and tiptoes past some grumpy, just-awakened seals. Can she do it? Well done, Mummy Penguin!

I worked on the music and sound for this adaptation of Chris Haughton’s book ‘Well Done, Mummy Penguin’ by Can’t Sit Still theatre – combining projection mapping and circus in a really magical and exciting way!

A particularly massive thanks to the musicians that helped out on the soundtrack – Paul Speare on flute, Alessio Castaldi on baritone saxophone, and Francisco Joubert on bassoon.
